Course coding
The course codes are designed on the basis of the Level or program, specialisation and course number. For example course CITEC 2.5.4 is a level 2 course (Diploma), Specialisation 5 (Computer Assembly, Maintenance and Upgrading) and Course number 4 (Network Basics)

 

Assessment
Continuous assessment: Each module of the CITEC Certificate, Diploma and Higher Diploma Programs will have at least 2 coursework assessments making up for a total of 40% of the overall grading for the module.

 

Examination: Each module of the CITEC Certificate, Diploma and Higher Diploma Programs will have an end of module examination accounting for 60% of overall grading of the module. Where there is a practical examination, it will account for one-third of the 60%.

Cumulative Grade Point Average CGPA and classification of AWARDS
The Cumulative Grade Point Average and classification of the CITEC awards (for each program) will be as follows

Fees
The fee schedules for different programs are available at the CENTRE upon request

 

Intake
The intake into CITEC Certificate and Diplomas programs is TWICE a year, in January and September.

The intake into the International programs is FOUR times a year: January March, June and September subject to availability of candidates.
Intake for accelerated and tailored courses will depend on the demand

 

Weekly Sessions
For the convenience of the participants the following sessions have been organised. The International programs and the CITEC Certificate and Diplomas have THREE sessions weekly:
Mon to Fri 9am – 12.00pm (convenient for the unemployed)
Mon to Fri 17pm – 20.00 pm (convenient for workers) and
Saturday From 8am-13 00pm and 15pm –20.00pm (convenient for workers and those who live out of Yaounde).
The sessions for the accelerated and tailored courses are arranged according to student and management convenience.

 

Offering a Program
A program will be offered in both French and English only when there are at least 10 students in each language group. Otherwise it will be offered only in the language for which there is a greater number of students.
